Easah Suliman won't comeback this season for Sumqayit due to injury
Pakistan national team captain and Sumqayit FK defender Easah Suliman will not be returning to action for the remainder of the current season.
Easah has been battling a long-term injury since June 2024. The road to recovery seemed to be nearing its end in January, when he was seen back in training with his club. At the time, Easah mentioned he was still undergoing rehab, but since he had started team training, everyone was eagerly waiting to see when he would be back in the matchday squad.
However, according to azertag.az, it has now been confirmed that Easah Suliman alongside two other injured players Aykhan Suleymanli and Roi Kehat will not take part in any remaining matches this season. While he has been reintegrated into team training, the decision appears to be a cautious one to ensure he does not suffer a setback ahead of future campaigns.
His current contract with Sumqayit runs until June of 2027, giving him ample time to focus fully on his fitness without immediate pressure. We are wishing him a quick recovery and hope he will be fit and ready whenever the Pakistan national football team plays next.
