Yousaf Butt Signs for Stallion Laguna FC in Philippines

Yousaf Butt, the experienced goalkeeper of the Pakistan national football team, has joined Stallion Laguna FC, a club in the Philippines Football League (PFL). This is a big move for him as he now plays in the top division of Filipino football and gets the chance to play regular competitive matches.

Stallion Laguna FC is based in Biñan, Laguna, and is one of the clubs in the Philippines’ top football league. The team plays its home games at Biñan Football Stadium. In the 2024–25 season, Stallion Laguna finished 5th out of 10 teams. The club is known for being stable in the league and for trying to improve every season.

Yousaf Butt was born on October 18, 1989, in Denmark and has been part of the Pakistan national team since 2012. He has more than 30 international appearances and is known for his strong goalkeeping skills and experience. Before this move, he mainly played in Denmark.

In recent games, Butt was not selected for Pakistan by coach Nolberto Solano. The reason was that the coach thought he was playing in a lower-level league, which made him less suitable for international matches at that time.

Now at Stallion Laguna, Butt will get a chance to play regularly in a top-tier league. The club gains an experienced goalkeeper, and Butt has the opportunity to show his skills and possibly get back into the Pakistan national team in the future.
